Hi,

I have a 2007 TDV8 range rover vogue. I use it to travel to the ferry terminal and usually park it for about a week at a time. Tonight, when I got into it it would not turn over and just got worse. Last week it was the same and I bought a new battery for £120 and it worked no problem for the weekend. checked the volts in the battery tonight and had 10, but last weeks battery had 11.9 so i swopped them over but still no use. The mecanic says that i cant jump start it. why could the battery be drained after a week. Dont think anythink is left on? Any advice please

thanks
Brendan

RF receiver get a new one do a search

On a 2007? Come on Dopey stop living up to your handle.

I believe there can be a fault on a resistor on the heater but you really want to get a meter in there and find out which circuit is draining the power before you go any further.

I think that they resolved the blower resister on 2006 onward range rovers
Only the early ones have that problem

Best taking it to a dealers, they can then Plug it into diagnostics and see what's draining the power

My son works for Mercedes and he said they had an ML last week with a battery drain which they traced to a Tracker the owner didn't know was fitted. Removed that and solved the fault.
