need somthing with some decent power.when off roading there is nearly always some ones tyre nearly commin off the rim.

Forget ciggie lighter jobbies.....amps restricted to low. You want a clip to battery terminal type. Twin compressors are a lot quicker unless you want to spend 15 mins per tyre

As blue beasty says, avoid cig lighter ones, the clip on battery terminal type are the way forward,my brother uses the t-max and will take a tyre from flat within couple mins : )
Another mate has a compressor hard wired into his disco aswell which is just as good but would def avoid ciggie socket compressor, that's the sort of thing u get from halfords and will take an age just to pump up a bike tyre : )

take a tin of lighter fluid, if the tyre comes adrift squirt some of it around the rim, then stand at arms length and look away and light it it will explode and force the tyre back on the rim, i saw them do it on top gear once it works a treat lol

hardly a great endorsement...

unless you have a huge budget to keep a few professional experts on hand and have an unlimited time to keep trying until you get it right for that one important shot - oh and that the experts ensure that the tyre comes off in the right way. If it comes off in the wrong way it will never go back on!

:D
