Tomorrow or Sunday in hoping to change the fuel filter and get the 90 back running before its oil change but this will truly tell whether it maybe knocking it since getting stuck in water!

I brought it for 1450 6 weeks ago in the aim to learn offloading and get some kit on it so it's only a toy for off roading an green Laning.

What I'm asking is if there was found to be a knocking or serious fault would you cut your losses and sell it or would you keep it make it right and carry on making it a better 90?

It has a sound chassis and bulk head by the way

Just want your guys views

can't remember what engine......19j?

Depends on your circumstances but if you can work on it yourself even if you have to rope in some help and you wanted to sell it on you'd still be better off sorting it or swopping engines.....in which case you might as well keep it :D

That 2.5n/a is a great bullet proof engine. Will work hard for u as long u service it every six months. The army can't. Be wrong if they stick with that sort of engine. I have the same in my ex mod 90

Thanks for the info taffy - basicly the pistons filled with water when stuck - up the exhaust and everything. anyway took glow plugs out got all the water out and was running sweet then this doughnut found that the fuel tank was filled with water (DURRR) - but i now have the water out and diesel only in it :) need to change the fuel filter etc - just the monsoon was holding me up. So i was more wondering if it produces a knock or anything what should i do. If thats the case Taffy its looking very hopefully and in all honesty i think it will be fine as it came up the temp etc perfectly! Just wanted some advise before i found a prob and decided what to do
