just had my 52 plate freelander td4 in for mot and it passed with a couple of advisarys nothing to serious im pleased to say
couple of brake pipes slightly corroded
offside track rod end ball joint play

so I went on fleebay to look for some track rod ends and its asking what variant I have??
options are ..1998-2006suv open.. or ..LN1998-2006suv
how do I find out which 1 I have does anybody know? on my registration document it says variant *AE version 027

They're both the same mechanically, eBay is a sod for listing things where the model has multiple variants that are exactly the same

Very useful, I wondered if I only had to select the 'open' option in the summer when the roof was off!
