ok i just posted a thread saying that my disco 2 wont start. and thanks for the help.

but for some strange reason all the car does is just click, however if i turn the lights on and try to start it it goes first time. could this be a dodgy earth or some thing

I had a dodgy earth in my rear lights that meant I could take the key out of the ignition and the car would run on till I turned the lights out
