got mine on eco mode set to 3.. i just emailed ron as i was unsure about switch settings.his reply was no light on is eco mode. Am i right in thinking that in eco mode and no light on, the synergy is not running at all so the engine is as standard. If thats the case if im running in eco mode all the time just as well remove the synergy altogether.
 
fitted mine yesterday 3 way switch green = eco.
middle no light =eco and a bit more.
and red light = 5 ie whats set on synergy box

older boxes and switches do diffrent things mines new so green eco off eco + more red what box is on
 
As far as I understand frontosa, he has the 2 position push-button switch which gives either eco (light off) or power (light on).

My older switch and rhodie's new one, are obviously wired differently to give the colours the opposite way round.

Hi singvogel quite correct i got the push button switch only two settings on it on or off
 
I've just been looking on RoverRon's web-site.

I'm a bit clearer now.

Ron has changed the text about the switch settings since I last had a look.

He is now talking about 'eco 1' being the most economical setting and he calls the middle position (with no lamps lit - which I thought was off) 'eco 2'.

As rhodie told us, Ron says 'Its like eco 1, but a bit stronger.'

Very good - I may just use the 'eco 2' sometimes - can't think where yet though.

Obviously only Ron could confirm 100% but it seems logical to me that "eco + more" is off, meaning that signals are unmodified.

eco + would be better performance than eco mode but not yet using the power boost setting?

Mine is one of the, rather old, 1 to 10, on or off Ron Boxes.

It's set to 3 at this point.

My MAF appears to be OK and I don't want 10 (hoolie mode).

On 3 I get good fuel consumption and very nice throttle response thank you :)
