Hi

Just bought a second hand FL2 and absolutely love it. Although my new car is older than my wife's current car, she's a bit jealous (she's the petrol head between us).

My last car (VW Passat estate) was 12 years old and so my requirements in my new car were few - bluetooth, multi-function steering wheel and iPod connection. I wasn't bothered about sat nav.

However.....now that there is a big cubby hole in the dash, it's crying out for a sat nav. Any recommendations as to one which is a good fit for the space - and is also easy enough to wire up to the electrics so that I don't have trailing wires?

Ta.

In-dash sat-navs are a money-pit con-trick.

I have one and would rather have a nice big empty hole there than in my wallet.

When it was 3 months old I bought a Garmin with lifetime updates for the price of one update of the LandRover wired in job.

Plus I couldn't take the daSH ONE OUT TO EXPLORE CITIES AND TOWNS ON FOOT AS A TOURIST - SO i NEEDED A HAND HELD O NE AS WELL.

sorry didn't mean to 'shout', but I'm not going back to write this again after switching off the capital lock.

Fat Fingers rule again.

Seriously - think about the cost and convenience.

Singvogel.

Thanks. Is there one you'd suggest? I'd quite like one which fits neatly into the space but don't want wires all over the place, so may just do without.
