my father recons he gets 35 mpg out of his thats motorway towing caravan and urban.Only uses his disco for holidays
Do we believe him? :scratching_chin:
I average 24 to the gallon on a 300Tdi Discovery Auto.
I reckon this is partly down to the low miles on it (currently 47K on a 96 plate so just over 3000 a year since being built!)
The Autos do use more as often I find myself stuck behind some idiot doing 48 MPH so that means my autobox doesn't change up so my engine is running at 2700rpm rather than 1900 when it engages the top gear.
