Fractionally better engine response with the MAF disconnected, so I guess I'll add a genuine LR one to the parts list. Thanks all.

You won’t look back, 2 years warranty too with the genuine which is nice of them

Did the Thomas Performance one come in a LR branded box? I'm reluctant to fork out for a genuine one only to be palmed off with a "genuine OEM replacement" in a white box. I'm tempted to go with Rimmer Bros just because they show the box in the advert. I'll speak to my local LR dealer tomorrow to cost one over the counter, but as they wanted £116+VAT for a D90 hand brake cable, I'm not holding my breath.

I haven't received it yet but based on the price and this: "Stock is direct from Land Rover" I wouldn't worry that is not the genuine/right one.

Mine come in LR box.

Arrived today in a white box, but with a LR sticker. Not marked VDO or Siemens, but does have the right serial number, albeit without G at the end.
Most convincing is that there is a noticeable improvement in performance. Cheers all.
