Found this under the drivers seat while i was stripping the 99 Diesel freelander that i'm breaking....

Any ideas?

Don't think the L series came with fuel burning heaters?

Top search results suggest its for the ABS system....But not sure, hence why i asked.

Will have a look at the part number tomorrow Hippo. By the way, are you still looking for a Pinion Gear? Can do a lot better than the last time i spoke to you.

Thanks. I've got a spare pinion gear now. It's worse than mine, so I put mine back. mine seems ok. I'll take it apart and report back on bearing number etc, then pass it on to some poor ****er, sorry, Freelander owner, who wants it. Serviced with new bearings and new oil seal too.

Cool, i have 2 of them here now anyway if needed. Both perfect.

On another note, do you know if the passenger window regulator from a 3dr will fit a 5dr?

Sorry don't know about regulators yet. Thats about the only thing that aint fuked up on mine. I do intend to take a door panel off some time, as it will be handy to know what to expect.
