I have about £7k

I want something that is reliable and must have 6 seats, and space for me
dog. I was looking at land rover discovery but not sure this is right and
there is so many others on the market i thought i would come to normal ppl
for advise not a car sales room.

Taking i tto france in the summer and wont be towing or pulling anything
ever unless i win the lottery

All advice and tips welcome.

Lots of people import a 4x4 from Japan. Cheap, well-maintained young cars.
We own a '94 (dutch) Pajero. It's a 7-seater, but our youngest is 10 and she
already doesn't fit in the hind seats any more. Nissan, Toyota and
Mitsubishi are extremely reliable cars. Do mind it's a gas-guzzling machine,
compared to a Voyager or the likes. 18-25 mpg is the norm here.
But they are great fun to drive.
