Just got the misses a 99 1.8xei. I've got a 90 with a disco engine in it so i know what i'm doing on the repair side of things, but what have i let myself in for ! :crazy: :D

Tdi is going awrsome, much better than the Td well pleased i did it.
The wife's v40 was ill so it had to go and the only thing she liked was the freelander ( Disco to big for her ).

Still i like cars with character !

It's a pity you didn't have a look through this Freelander section before buying, still you might be lucky. Apparently there are one or two petrol owners who've never had any problems, but for anyone else looking to buy - only buy a diesel Freelander.
 
I have a shopping list as to what can / will go wrong so i'll be making sure it is right before i pick it up. It's last owner worked for lookers so i'm hoping he was good at his job.

Thats just it tho aint it..... We like our Freebies and everyone hates a broken car! Though some perol owners are looking at replacing the 1.8 for a 2.0 Other than that just be aware of K series issues :)
