C rated tyres are used on caravans as wellIts funny as ive asked several guys i know the same question, mechanics, landrover drivers, lorry drivers and none of them knew, they all thought it was a speed marking.. Which it isnt.
I didnt want to spend £250 on a private sale to find ive got tyres which are no good for my purpose.
Anyhoo, i bought the tyres, 5x General Grabbers, basically brand spanking new, with the little rubber mould bits still on the tread. Getting them fitted this avo. Money well spent i hope!![]()
C = If a Euro-metric sized tire ends with a "C," it signifies the tire is a "Commercial" tire intended to be used on vans or delivery trucks that are capable of carrying heavy loads. In addition to being branded with the "C" in their size, these tires are also branded with their appropriate Service Description and "Load Range" (Load Range B, Load Range C or Load Range D).
