Got to be proper green makes your tratter invisible. Thinking of sending these shots into LRO magazine as their readers always send in photos of cracking scenery with a tratter stuck in the middle of the photo, great day though just got back today

Think its going to be orange now! Getting my chequer plating powder coated black this week and the wheels to shortly follow in black! With painting the arches gloss black, will the paint not crack once they are bent from laning/off roading?

Nope, its actually a glossy finish and its a light blue, some kind of lawnmower blue if I recall. Also used it to brush paint my little bruvs car 20 years ago in the baking sun. It looked like a good spray job.

Cheers Yes I did it myself in bits in the garage.
Paint was off ebay. clostermann coatings if I remember right.

Its all about the battleship grey mate.

5 litres off ebay is more than enough. Just a touch of thinners then slap it on with a roller.













Can be done in a weekend. Granted mines a disco not a defender though!

Obviously a bit late to this post! But just googled RAL 7024 paint for my defender to see if there were any pictures of anyone who's done it to theirs and yours came up! Do you have any pictures of yours painted in the RAL7024??
