I have a Defender I was told was Chawton white, but ordered a bottle of aftermarket touchup and it doesn't match.

I'm attaching a photo...is the aftermarket paint no good or is it not Chawton?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance I need to get some body work done and they can't figure it out.

Have you owned since new? If not It could of been resprayed. Don't think that is a factory paint combination, black, white combonation.

I guess you found the Chawton white was a creamy off white?

If it IS a LR paint it look more like Alaska White which is a whiter white.

I have not owned it since new...but it was not repainted. I ordered a genuine LR touch up pen in Chawton just to confirm.

Was Alaska white used on Defenders?

you could have a look for the Paint code on the slam panel or the brake servo.

then try here. none metallic colour And yes Artic white was used along with half a doz other shades of white Chawton on the other hand was only used on 98 model Landies What Year is your's

It is not the original body. The body is from 2005-2006. From the chart it seems like it is either Chawton or Alaska. From what I have seen online, it looks more like Alaska. The second touch up pen of chawton should arrive tomorrow so I will test it after work. Thank you for all the help.

I've had it at a bodyshop for a week and they are clueless...still waiting for my chawton touchup to come.
