You need to drive with caution especially on bends and in the wet. If you get 265/75/16's rather than 235/85/16's you need to clean your side windows regularly cos it chucks crap up em. It sounds like a police helicopter hovering overhead too.
They are great offroad though.

Im on my 2nd set now, personly i dont find them very noisy, ive been up to 80mph on mine and yes you can hear them hum a little but when i first got them i fort they were going to be very load. As for handling i some time dont drive easy or slow, and i havent had them really slide on me, if you chuck it into the corners its a bit different but with good road position and letting the pressure build up i find them pretty grippy wet or dry.

You gotta have an older engine in your landy then. My TD5 makes em sound bloody noisey. Buckshot drove it the other day and commented on the road noise.
If you throw em into a bend you will wear the outter edge off the tyre and that meand less grip off road.

Yer hense i dont through it into corners,have done in the past and felt it a lil squirm, but what can i say there was an emergency and i had to get to hospital for my girlfriend, so i wasnt waiting around.
Ive got a 200tdi so yer not the quitest, did have my first set on a TD. I just turn the music up a little or open the window in the summer and have the wind noise.
But who cares on noise, off road is were it matters and i love them in the mud
