Ok so considering yr OP did you check yr coolant level ?
Is there any rust in the water run off channel at the bottom of yr windscreen ?
Are yr door seals intact ?

On my 89 Classic I found water was entering via the footwells themselves due to rust holes ! 
What sort of condition are the footwells in ? Peel back or strip out the carpets and then aim your hose at the back of them to see where it is coming in.
As far as the sunroof goes its good practise to open it up and point an air line down the drain pipes found on the front corners of the water trap to blow out the crud.

Wet classic floors - get ready for a long slow process.
Sunroof is usual - check the pipes aren't bloked and see what is under the end of the drain tube where it comes down the A pillar. Often there is a nice hole caused by the water itself.
Also where the tube pushes into the roof itself under the headlining can leak. Mine drips off the rearview mirror sometimes.
Front bulkhead - under the decker panel (between the bonnet and windscreen) is often rusty so will let water in. Any of the rubber seals where pipes/wires go through the bulkhead can leak.
Door seals as has been said.
I took my front carpets and underlay out as they just hold water against the metal until one day the floor pan falls out!
Sadly a hosepipe never quite replicates real rain.You can sit under a hosepipe all day and it stays dry but the first good downpour and you're swimming again.
Do a quick search as its a common issue.
