Anybody experienced TIG welding landrover chassis? If so newbie questions thus;

1. What size tungsten electrode?
2. What size filler rod?
3. What sort of point on the electrode (either short/obtuse or long/acute)?

Silly questions but I've got to start somewhere, also will any of the Haynes welding manuals be of use?

somthing i know about at last i would not use a tig on a chassis
1 its to thick
2 it will cast a mint on gas
3 its bloody hard work getting round things and under bit
i would get the mig out or the arc welder i tend to use the arc welder more its cheaper and easyer to get in and around thing if you have a tig set it can be easy changed to a stick welder

steal or borrow a mig welder mate. much easier.
