Hi everyone.

Have searched through here for boot related issues. Some of which match parts of what we have, some don't.

When I press the door unlock once, basically the boot pops open. But not enough to be actually open (you still have to press the handle to open it) but open enough that the car says the tailgate is open with the key in the ignition.

Also. If the engine is running now. If I jump out and try and open the boot. I press the handle, and it doesn't open. To open it. I have to stop the car. Take the key out and then press the boot button on the fob.

Any ideas what needs replacing or fixing? We've only had it two months. So it's a bit annoying.

Is an 07 plate.

I think yo will find it’s moisture / water ingress in tailgate switch, it then messes with switch contacts, new switch and seal up brake light in top of tailgate
