Hi All,

MOT time later this month for my ever faithful 300 tdi.

Last year the boot floor was patched up but the arches were not to bad. This year after a super clean out of the same arches i have seen the onset of some rust/rot.

I have treated it all to a liberal coating of Kurall and black Waxoyl in the slim hope the mot man will let it through.

Is this a waste of time and should I order those new bits of patching metal now????

Looks good now all black and shiny! (the disco that is)

Waxoil works brilliantly as long as you got rid of all the flaky rust before applying it. Ideally you should do the whole vehicle once a year around october time(before the council start chucking salt all over the road).

I promise you if you do this your car will last a very long time.
