Some of us do know these things! I even instantly recognised your forum picture/ avatar as well and I'm only 27.
Admittedly I only knew about the AA side cars from seeing them at the transport museum.

Scruffy W reg 1980 not a new thing, will gladly wave if seen in North Wales or further a field, I even waved at a Series One a while back and I was driving the car.

I picked all purely because its not the model that decides whether I wave or not. Its dependent on what they look like ie if theyre wearing s auit and driving a shiny rangie I won't bother, if theyre drivinf a fender and towing a sheep trailer its 50/50 whether I know em anyway... Most of all it comes down to how I feel Got loads of waves back yesterday, must ahve been the weather

There is one farmer round here I wave to but thats because he's freind of family,
I noticed when the disco was standard no waves, when I put the spots on the roof lightbar I started getting waves, But since the Bumper chop loads of waves from other Dressed Landie's even other makes of 4x4's

yea i get the odd other 4x4 wave or big thumb!! lol, but sometimes i almost feel like a trator waving back!but always do anyway!!
