yh tried that google thing n some are selling rubber type bushes for both ends and others aint so came on ere for help :fighting:

Well the first hit on google is a how to on Urban Panzer's website which contains many pictures including this one:
Failing that you could always venture outside and have a look what type yours has.

I managed to replace all 5 (bushes and bearings) using a big f#%k off vice.
Got them from
Jaguar Parts | Land Rover & Range Rover Parts | British Parts UK
As they supplied the kit and weren't Britpart
Inner arms are rubber and metal sleeves
Middle one is a bearing
Outer ones are different to the inners, they were rubber and sort of fibre glassy if I remember correctly

so they have both types fitted then if u want me to look at whats on mine
my question is are rubber bushes fitted at both ends as some kits have rubber n some have 2 rubber n 2 of the bearing type

The two outer ones on the top line of the photo are for
1 outer bush for each arm
The middle bush on the top line is the bearing which fits in the middle of the figure of 8 of the linkage.
The two bottom bushes in the picture are for

Not quite, there is one large centre bush, then two each of the inner and outer bushes for the rods.
The outer bushes are rubber bushes, the iunner ones are swivelling, not just rubber, they have a bearing in there of some kind.

Yeh thats what I remember from mine. As an additional tip, have a look at fleabay or local breakers and see if you can get hold of an old linkage cheap. I did that with mine just in case the fitting of new bushes etc proved more difficult than expected. Went ok with vice and replacement went on with couple of coats of paint and minimum downtime as I use my disco daily.
I've got a spare linkage, bushes are pretty good in it, but the old ones are rolling along pretty well so far, see what haapens at its MOT in July

The two inner bushes (above and below the centre bearing on the pivot) are sealed ball joints, hence just over £40 each from Land Rover I know because I've recently done mine Used a hydraulic press to get the old ones out - one moved at about 4.5-5 tons pressure intially, the other I think was around 3 tons!
