Hi there,
Can anyone shed light on why my water pump fell off my discovery 4 only 10 mile down the road after having the cam belt changed at the garage?
Thanks for any help.
Yes. You have a crap Garage.

Welcome.
Yes, what usually happens is that they let the apprentice play with your car and he/she usually forgets to put the bolts back in or tighten them up properly.
No big deal, quite normal in this day and age for garages to do a worse job than the average home mechanic.
That was my suspicion, I am awaiting there response and hope there will be no extra cost.
Welcome.

I don't think they will let an apprentice do a timing belt.
When you're stretched tighter than a set of sheer nylons over Dianne Abbott's chunder thighs, you'll let the apprentice snort coke off the rocker cover if he promises to put a £2 gasket on it so you can bill the client £200I don't think they will let an apprentice do a timing belt.
This is a wind up.
