Hi folks, the carpet in my boot is wet. As I am new to owning a Freelander is this a common problem and is it a quick fix. Any thoughts?:(

As above, there is a ton of info on this inherent problem, with as many solutions too................ some not as practical as others!!

Happy to say I seem to have cured my leaking boot. what I did was to clean the rubber seal and where the seal meets around the door with silicon spray. I also moved the door catch receiver in about 3mm to get a better seal.

Of cause it depends on where the water is getting in but as suggested have a search there are loads of threads on this subject.
