Hi just joined after using this site for many years for help . Thought I would start with a BIG thank you . As you have helped answer so many problems .
I have a 2002 discovery 2 td5 auto 7seater . I've had it for 6 years, and have learnt one thing about owning a landrover . Your never alone when it comes to a a fault or problem. And to finish this thread on the advise from my farming father in law . Who's owned many a landy. If it ent dripping oil . It's proberly rain out .

Too true. Sometimes I haven't clue where the stuff is coming from...and then it's gone!

If it isn't leaking it probably isn't a Landrover ... never a dull weekend with a Landrover.

I wonder what is like it Africa with hardly any rain , do they only moan about oil drips ....

Hardly any rain in Africa - well I didn't know that!. Mine loses water and smells of diesel. And in a sandstorm the inside turns yellow.

Deffenly think I have more oil clinging to the outside of my engine ,than in it .

mines covered in oil lol, i just dont park it on my drive
