Hi all i have a 98 Disco 1 and the rear window washer doesnt work. I can hear the pump running so wanted to pop the pipe off and blow it through with an air line. Only problem is i think the pump is under the washer fluid bottle i cant get the bottle off there are two bolts holding the bottle to the bulkhead which are off now what ?
I think you will find there are 3 bolts holding the washer bottle in place.
oh crap i have only found 2 where is the other ?
On my Disco1 there are two bolts on the bulkhead side and one on the air filter side, if i remember properly.

I'd be pulling the pipe off the pump and seeing if anything came out before going through all the effor of removing the tank and blowing it through. Or just pull the pump out the grommet. I rekon you'll find that the pipe to the rear washer has chaffed through. Most likely where it goes through the body to tailgate grommet.
The pump just pushes into a rubber ring seal, so should just pull up and out.

From the Haynes book - 2 bolts on the bulkhead and 2 underneathhtrough the wheelarch. Bet they'll be rusted solid..................
