I found WD next to useless - OK they coughed up for my Gaylander KV6 HGF - but they didnt pay for any "consumables" - which includes thermostat housing, pipes, oil, antifreeze, water filler cap. They didnt pay for crack detection, checking to see if the head was warped, checking liner heights etc etc etc - basically they only paid for half of an £1800 bill. Tread warily..
but they often exclude "consumables" and "fair wear and tear"
I had to get the engine stripped at my cost, so that they could "inspect it" - to decide whether it was covered or not - bit bloody late if they say "no" when its in bits over a garage floor
