Ashcroft given up with LR's offerings and went salisbury lockers kill Landy shafts if driven harshly

did give it some today but not enough to brake them both i thought ! ok so i have tuned up my 200tdi a bit but 165bhp is alot less that some i know running them in td5s.
so ashcrofts dont do them for the landrover axil now ?

I thought they stopped selling detroit lockers for Rover axles they still do the halfshafts but they ain't cheap but you won't break them.

just been on there site, iam looking at £260 + vat not sure if thats a pair or each ?

So you went the Ashcroft route then? or did you go paddocks? Confused?
Paddocks ones are Britpart and mine lasted a trip to Northampton and the secondt section of a treasurehunt/Punch event. The "new" brotpart one Shattered. and the old Fecked LR one on the otherside with the splines almost worn through the centre of each other did not let go. Goes to show the tempering that LR put their shafts through compared to cheap shafts. I do hope you didn't get the britpart ones!
Side with worn out splines (did not break) Short side side that usually snaps due to less "give"
Shattered shaft Britpart special forom paddocks £30 odd quid each,
