Hello, does anyone have a 2.25 petrol kicking around? Looking for a tidy one in the Bristol ish area.

As soon as I find a 200TDi for my 84 petrol then a 35000 mile one will be on Ebay! North Devon BTW
 
Luggsey in the local Tradeit are a couple of 300's one also has a gearbox with it and both can be heard running, if thats any good to you mate. Does it matter if it's a disco 200? I'll keep a look out for you.
 
I'm really interested in a 200 or an early 300 with the throttle cable not the sensor type. (Hard to retrofit so I'm told).
It needs to have the full rad/intercooler/wiring and relays, would take a full rotten disco with a good engine...
Would be good of you/anybody else if you see/hear of such a buy in the southwest area to let me know thanks.
If you really are after an engine like mine we can talk when it's out ok?

Just looking for a relatively cheap 2.25 petrol thats in working order £750 is way over but thank you anyway for the links posted. It's to go into a series 3 lightweight
 
Well now, one of my neighbours has just taken one out of a military 110, as a good runner, and swapped it for my ex-police 2.5 petrol motor, that I took out so I could fit a Sherpa 2.5 diesel, into the Def 90 that Discomania now drives!

So .... feel free to think about an economy 2.25 petrol motor in Lanarkshire, Scotland. Email me if interested, but I know it's a long way.

Should be taking a 2.25 petrol out of my 90 in the next month. Good runner with 90k on it.
In Gliucester. Any good to you?
