hi, just thought id let you in on a money saving tip, I've just sound proofed my defender with roof flashing, the stuff that's replaced lead on our roofs £14.00 a roll from wickes 3 rolls did all the defender, cant work out how to post pics

You need to open a Photobucket account to host your pictures firstly, post them on there and post the image code here for people to see. I think there is a thread on doing so if you take a look.

it wont soak in, it sticks like ****, i used to do this when i was converting vw t4s to camper vans works out a lot cheaper

I've been using the same stuff cut into small patches to seal the small holes under the body work. I found if you stick it on, then run over with a heat gun, the tape melts slightly, and bonds permanently to the surface. It just makes the result that little but more tough.
