hi keith ,now your confusing me , as per rave ,its the e,a,s, under bonnett right hand side lift cover off and theres a long pump on top of the compressor , attached to blue air pipe , its that wich is running too much frightened it will burn out and cause me more problems ,,its a 2000 v8 thor engined vouge ,,cheers matey

EAS compressor/pump is on the left hand side or Near side in the UK.

to keith and christian , my apologies your both right it is decribed in rave as a compressor . wich supplies air to the valve block ... so my questions refer to the compressor .thanks for correcting me kind regards mozz ;)

hi wammers just a query and also an update,, my original problem began with the pump coming on quite irregular fo 30 secs at a time and sometimes longer , so as you know tried to change filter , backplate knackered so went to change it and snapped a bolt , sorted bolt out put all back together with new end plate and gasket and new filter ,,,,,,reconnected everything also did the finger test ?? then all complete ,took it for a spin suspension all square and at 47" from centre of hub to top of wheel arch and rises and lowers no problem ,,, BUT the pump is still coming on very regular and runs for same amount of time 30 secs and sometimes longer so ???? is the pump ****ed or the commpressor ????????? all the airbags are fine i.e. water test and no air leaks ,,,, whats your opion matey ???? thanks for all your help so-far cheers wammers kind regards MOZZ p.s. the motor is a 2000 thor v8 with 90k and been well serviced and looked after :)

Hi Moz, there is a plug on the end of the tank, not very convenient for draining the water as it's not at the bottom. you can depressurise with the EAS software, then take the plug out, I used a strip of card to dip the bottom to check for water, mine was dry. If you find water you will need to take the tank off to empty it, but I think you will find yours is dry too. Think about fitting a new dryer and definately fit a new one if you find the tank is wet:):):)
