I'm thinking of going off road more and using pay 'n' play sites . I'm gonna fit a wading kit but wanna know where to route the breather tubes ?

Is it a pain to fit or basicaly straight forward ????

pretty easy as faras i can see personally i am going to extend my standard breathers rather than pay loadsa money for some nylon pipe

Seen a kit on ebag for 30 dabs , seem's quite good value , not got a snorkel but looking for a second hand one . . . .

thats why i int buying a kit i am extending (replace original and fit longer) using the original banjo bolts i'm not paying £30 for £10 of nylon hose

the banjo bolts often block up and dont flow that much air at the best of times.

the push fittings are much larger bore so if the axle gets a good suck on the will help to stop it vacuuming.

i thought the fittings wer 1/4 bsp tbh, but im not sure (just what i remembered from the ebay listing)

i bought an ebay kit for piece of mind, but now i would buy 4 elbow fittings, a 8mm-6mm reducer for the fuel tank, and 30mtrs of 6mm tube for about 15 quid, the whole lot will cost about 20 quid...

cheers, sam

yeah i know...

must be 1/8th after all then, because when i think about it, 1/4 is too coarse a thread.

anyhoo - the ideas were there! :D

All you need is enough 6mm pipe & 3 Pushfit Tee pieces. you can sweat the pipe onto the banjo union by sticking the pipe in boiling water to soiften it then push banjo into pipe. then connect both axle pipes into 1 tee piece below passenger footwell The extend upto bulkhead. do same with transfer breather into teepiece no2. fit axle extension into bottom of same teepiece. fit short length of pipe into remaining leg of tee. & connect teepiece no3 to the other end of pipe then bring gearbox breather to bottom of tee no3 then fit snorkel extension to las leg of tee no3 and your all done.

Should look like this

From Transfer Box_____________________ To Snorkel
.................................T.........................T
...........................Axle Pipe..............Gear box
..................................I
..................................I
..................................I
...........Fr Axle---------I--------Rear Axle
