note dvla/police normaly sieze vehicle first then prosecute/sort it out. if you cant show not your doing you need to sort it quick now cat out of bag,had this with motorbike , very dogey ground


Dosnt sound dodgy He said the Vin matches the V5 which really is all that matters.
Its not trying to be something its not.

This could just have been a mistake when it was new If that is what DVLA have on file then thats what it need to be.
no piont now trying to rectify a VIN mistake for the sake of a year identifier.
