Hello again, well after all the problems with the disco 300tdi - timing belt snap, exhaust falling off, dampener falling off I thought everything was going to be fine for a while at least. So off I went on a big run down south everything was fine however on the way back up I noticed I was getting some vibration through the steering wheel when I was accelerating. I seem to be getting in in all gears at all speeds when accelerating. Any ideas anyone?

if it's coming up through the steering wheel must be front end,, wheel bearings, lumpy tyre, front prop uj,worn steering box, drag link ball joints, track rod ends, crikey, the possibilities are numorous to say the least, good luck with it.
ps, does it get worse under load??

I know great fun to trace! Just had a quick look jacked the car up wiggled the wheels they are solid enough so rules out wheel bearings (bugger got spares of them!).

Under load - Id say yes its worse when initial accelerating and going up a hill!

Just about to go out for another look but while I was under fitting the new exhaust I did grease the uj's and checked them ill have a look. Was more worried my timing had slipped after the new belt but ticks over great.

just another stab in the dark, have you had the props off if so could be prop balance, bit of a long shot i know but!!

Had the prop off a couple of years ago doing the uj's but been fine. Just back been all over it everything mentioned above and all seems fine. Did find a wee oil leak from the vac pump mount but that was it. I thinking ill just have to wait till it becomes worse and more obvious. Might get the wheels balanced and after that im out.
