hi. please help. i have a bad vibrating when i hit 40mph on my td5 defender. ive had the wheels balanced checked the prop but no change. i have been told it may be the hockey stick bushes but i cant see it being that. any ideas?? thanks

also. i have had new wheel bearings and track rod ends with in the last 4 months

It's your prop UJ's. You need to check them with the handbrake off (but make sure you chock the wheels else yer'll run yerself over!!!)

I had the same problem on my Disco. Turned out that on of my tyres... remould off roady things... had not worn evenly so some of the lugs were more worn than others... this meant that the tyre was no longer perfectly round resulting in serious wheel wobble.

Best way to check would be to lift the wheel off the ground so it clears by a milimetre or two and then spin the wheel. If it scrapes the floor it has an issue.
