B Big Mat Well-Known Member Jun 13, 2013 #1 Trying to get the passenger side track rod end out of the mounting on the hub as i'm replacing the whole track bar. Nut off but i cannot get it out, i've just broken the ball joint splitter trying to do it! Any suggestions? thanks mat

jamesmartin Well-Known Member Jun 13, 2013 #2 hit the arm near the tre with a decent sized hammer and it will pop out if hit right

B Big Mat Well-Known Member Jun 13, 2013 #4 It is now out after some more hitting, popped out nicely in the end after a few whacks on the arm. Saved me going and borrowing some oxy to heat the bugger up! Cheers guys!

Rubins4 Well-Known Member Jun 13, 2013 #5 I had one that was stuck, pretty stuck but not very stuck. It was on the other side so I had to lie on the floor and hit it upwards! A right bugger!
