Trying to get the passenger side track rod end out of the mounting on the hub as i'm replacing the whole track bar.

Nut off but i cannot get it out, i've just broken the ball joint splitter trying to do it!

Any suggestions?

hit the arm near the tre with a decent sized hammer and it will pop out if hit right

If your replacing the lot hit the thread on top more direct than in the bar. It will soon pop out .

It is now out after some more hitting, popped out nicely in the end after a few whacks on the arm. Saved me going and borrowing some oxy to heat the bugger up!

I had one that was stuck, pretty stuck but not very stuck. It was on the other side so I had to lie on the floor and hit it upwards! A right bugger!
