Ok, apologies if this has been done to death but I am wondering if my Disco 1 300TDi will run on vegetable oil? Do I need to do anything to the pump or injectors or is it a simple as pouring and and off we go? Is there a ratio to diesel that it would be better using.

Yes you can just run it on veg oil, 50/50 in summer and 30/70 winter, as it doesn't do great in the cold, but to start off slowly build it up and add more and more till you 300tdi gets used to it at 50/50, as that is what I did, you don't need to do anything but just pour it in,
