Please help!!!!,,

dont know if any one can help i have a 2000 4.6 vogue that as got the vdo dayton sat nav unit

the unit turns on and i can use trip computer on it but the options for navigation or map or not highlighted and i cannot select them.

the unit was working fine,just suddenly started like this i have cleaned the disc and checked the disc drive as all wires connected

please help although i have tom tom it would be nice to get it sorted

Ordered new disc from eBay but still getting same problem. Checked the diagnostics mode and no fault present.

Have you cleaned the Laser?

Run a cd cleaner today,still no joy. Trip computer working but option for map nav or address not available

Yeah managed get into the diagnostic using code 6330. Every thing seems fine picking satellite up and using emergency it gives me my co ordinates.getting to my wits end
