What's the lowest mileage that a vcu has had to be changed,think mine is knackered and it has done 59000.

They have be known to fail after 30,000

No noise,but running tight when in reverse on full lock,vibration on acceleration in 2nd gear so decided to remove vcu for peace of mind.

You made a good decision, but have you checked your tyre pressures? Assume the tyres are all same make/model.

As the man with the hats says - worth putting the props back on and do the 1 wheel up test to see what results you get.
