I've just got a reconditioned VCU from Bell engineering (really helpful) and now need to refit .
However when the prop shaft assembly was taken off I put the support bearing bolts in a safe place - so safe I can't remember where! Am I right in thinking they were a specialised bolt? Can anyone help with a part number or where I can get suitable bolts?

If I remember correctly they are a large diameter bolt with a small head, probably dealer only but you could give Bells a ring first.

The two bolts that hold each support bearing to the floor? They are nothing special - just find something that fits the thread. M8 possibly. Use a washer under the head if needed.

^^^^Like he says...I am pretty sure that they are M8 with a flanged head (10mm a/f socket). They are quite long, around 50mm from memory. No problem using M8 standard setpins (13mm a/f hex. head) and washers.
