Hi. Just had trouble with overheating replaced head gasket ,need valve guide clearances, disco 300TDI 1994. Any help gratefully accepted. Thanks

Hi, inlet and exhaust both 0.20mm (don't tell me, you've got a haynes manual that dosn't give valve clearances as well)

It is in the Haynes "book of lies" see page---- Engine removal and overhaul procedures 2C-3 9th line down-------BB.

Just had a look and BB is right, the valve clearances are there. Still dosn't help when the other chapters refer you to "the specifications given at the start of chapter 1b".
At the time I got that ****ed off trying to find the clearances in Haynes that I gave up, it was quicker to switch computer on and look on rave CD.
