hey guys, so finally managed to find time to rebuild a spare EAS valve block with a seal kit etc..
and then today transplanted it into the car..
couple of niggles / questions for those in the know
so system pumped up.. and soapy water test..
1st off i had a clear leak ( i could hear ) from the base of one of the valves.. so took back out, reseated the seals etc.. re-pressurised..
the niggle / question.. when i spray the soapy water at the valve heads there are small bubbles from where the black wired enter the Black Caps.. ( looking very closely from above maybe just the right side ?)..
is this a bad seal ? or is this just a little air from the system at full pressure and nothing to be bothered about ?
i've tried to take them all out again, check and re-seat and appears to be exactly the same..
( obviously i can't see the 2 under the block to spray .. so hoping they are ok )..
system is unto pressure now and will leave over night to see what if anything happens...
as with my other EAS posts.. now this has a new Driver pack too.. so hoping this will also solve my reoccurring Faults.. jump to wade / exhaust valve issues.. but that will remain to be seen...
thanks for the replies in advance.. and any other suggestions on what to try / test..
