Just noticed in the recent warm weather the engine running a hotter than it should. Checked out the rad and noticed its pretty fooked, holes everywhere and over 25% of the fins are broken or missing

quick check on tinternet and new rads seem to be around the £200 mark

is there anywhere that does re-cons or that cen get the price down a bit

£200 seems a really good price. I paid £180 to have mine re-coned and that was cheapest I could find round here. I was quoted £300+ for a new one for mine.

i use colchester rads for my re-cons they do a pukka job but they aren't cheap, the price of the rad will be linked to the price of copper
