Hi hope some one can help.Have a v8 auto 2000 drives great but if you put your foot down fast it will loose power for a few seconds then pick up again.If I drive like miss Daisey I can probably get around town,it is now doing my head in.Thanks

you should plug in a tester to see if tere are any fault codes logged... this symptom on V8 can be caused by many things... MAF sensor would be a good start...but without diagnostic scanner it's a guessing game, for the engine management you can plug in any OBDII reader cos it'll give you the fault codes
