Hi all, i am currently insured through NOR COUNTY, i have a Disco 300TDI which has been heavily modified. The insurance for the year is £190 fully comp with 0 no claims.

Any way against all advice and better judgement

i have just brough a Disco v8. I have just phoned up for a quote again with NOR County and its almost bleedin twice the price at £370 due to the 'size of the engine'. I have stated the mods are comparable with the 300 (or will be when i have finished) and its 3 year newer but come on £370.
Adrian flux weren't competitive at £550 even taking into consideration the 18 year no no cliams i have acumulated with another car. the landyzone discount and the 5 bikes i also have access to.

Anybody else i can try, considering its modified?
Hopefully i will pick it up this friday.

It could be worse, you could be paying £139 a month like me, about £1400 a year. I only paid £900 for the piece of ****.

I pay about 300 for my D2 v8 didn't think it was that bad its the cheapest car I have to insure

I'm 24, so am lunatic crazy irresponsible boy racer who is going to go tearing up the streets causing chaos. When in reality I work hard, pay my taxes, keep it legal, raise a family and not had an accident or claimed in 6 years I have my license.

Still got to crack on with the smile lol

Last year Lancaster asked for £260 a year this year they want £1377

Im with lancaster this year and im only paying £160 a year absolute bargain its a shame we spend all the other money on keeping these cars on the road ha ha.
