I'm hoping to start my rebuilt engine today. It had overheated and blown its head gasket but it's now fixed. Just having a cuppa before last of the waterpipes and fan gets fitted. MoT next week too.

Did you clean out the vent pipe in the header tank?

Managed to get the car in for a last minute MoT. It only failed on worn wipers so now have a fully functioning vehicle again. Just need insurance and tax and its good to go.
