Dad's 90 has a 4l rover V8 running through 4-1 tubular manifolds then a TD5 exhaust system.
The main TD5 silencer took a few knocks off road and then due to corrosion the exhaust broke in 2 where the exhaust exits the main silencer so I cut it out and welded in straight pipe as a short term bodge.
Whilst it does sounds lovely
he complains that it is too loud with just the small backbox
Does anyone have any suggestions about which silencer to use as a replacement?
Ideally something that takes some of the noise away (not all of it mind) and is less bulky than the TD5 version.
Thanks,
Harry
