Hi folks I am new to the site and new to Land Rovers. I am finding it hard to work out the pricing of 110 station wagon defenders, they seem to be very inconsistent. Can anyone shed any light on this for me ? Also I am going to see a 1996 300 Tdi csw tomorrow with 160k on it, in good condition what is this jeep worth ??

Pay peanut's, most of the time you get monkey's.

:lol: don't be callin no landy a jeep round here mate!

Set a budget n go look at as many as possible, as its been said its generally reflected on condition but you do get plenty of dreamers that think they're old rusted out dog is worth thousands cos its got a snorkel n a set of off road tyres on it!

On the flip side, your bound to get the odd person flog a decent one too cheap!

Check for rust... everywhere! :lol:

I purchased a 110 300 tdi 1997 last year for £2300 clean chassis solid bulk head good cross member so they are out there. If you look hard enough you could prob buy a JEEP for about a tena though. Ha ha

I bought a 110 CSW in a 4 cylinder petrol flavour last month for £500. It needs "some" work


All in all its very solid. It needs a tidy up, rear x member, fuel tank, chassis painted and my scrap Disco's 200Tdi motor fitted (and probably about another million small things I've yet to uncover lol)
