I'm living in the US and I am trying to purchase a 1986 defender 110. Price range $1,000 to $3,000.

I have contacts in the UK that can help be my eyes and ears. I also have experienced importer to work on the import portion of things.

Please send me a message if you know of anything that I can purchase. I currently own a 2004 RR Westminster and just sold my 1994 D90 NAS. I want to step into a D110

Cheers,

you'll have to join the queue mate,

there's been quite a few yanks around here recently looking for pre '86 landies to export

there's also a lot of folk on mainland europe trying to exploit the cheap tax regs on 25 year old cars.

also for your budget I don't think you'll find anything worth exporting but good luck with your hunt anyhow :D

Not a hope of finding anything that you would want to pay to ship over within that budget.

Up it to $6000 plus (£4000 Sterling) and you may be getting closer.

Thanks for the comments. I am sure I dont understand what ****ter money means but it can't be a compliment. I can raise my bid but the answer is always no if you don't ask.

****ing and ****ting...got it. I owned a D90 and currently own a RR. I agree that fenders name their price respectively in the US. However each vehicle typically stays in its price circle when they trade. it is simply rare that they trade at all and the higher priced vehicles sit there for a while until some guy thinks it will be neat to keep it in his garage to show his guests during cocktail parties or take it for a spin to the country club because his wife isnt giving him enough attention. Fourtunatley, The Dempsey's, don't operate that way. I plan on fighting for a deal, finding it and not overpaying. The search continues. Cheers
