Mates just bought a landy disco 1 on weekend everything is fine but today
when locked the indicators flash like 3times tuen dont for 10sec then flash again 3times
checked all doors and windows ect , only does it when lock
anyone know please ?
 
Check the bonnet switch?

Open the bonnet, hold the switch down then see what happens?

I don't know for sure just methodical testing.
 
Are you sure the alarm is actually working? Leave a door open and lock it and you should get a bleep alerti g you there is a problem. It sounds like its locking then unlocking.

Leaving a door open and locking the vehicle is not a test function of the alarm system, all the bleep tells you is a door is not closed correctly, that's the problem.

Understood, but if you get the bleep at least you could possibly rule out the siren... One less thing to check.
 
Ok well did the bonnet one and its normal basicly the alarm randomly goes off
sat inside , locked the doors using fob then manually lifted pin and open door n them indicators started flashing , the alarm noise doesnt go off/ no noise so my theory is that whem there flashing thats the alarm going off what you recon , power sounder? Checked all then fuses btw

True! :D looks like the op's siren isn't connected going by the last post of indicators only flashing.

Yup! siren has been disconnected because of a fault with the alarm system, maybe.
 
Any one know the reason why the alarm would randomly start going off and where is the siren localed on a disco 1
thanks for the help guys my mates was in pub last night where its park and he did ring me later on saying it hasnt gone off meaning the indicators
 
Looking again at your first post, u have not indicated what disco model your talking aboutso you may not have a siren.
If u have a BBUS siren then it positioned on the off-side inner wing.
